Sam Obot

Sam has been a tutor for over 9 years. He specialises in manual and automated software testing. You will gain knowledge and experience of manual and automated software testing based on theory and structured practical work provided during his course. He will empower you with the skills you need to impress potential employers and open doors that were previously closed to you. From preparing you with typical interview questions to ensuring your CV is fit for purpose Sam will be there for you like he has many other students who are now reaping the rewards in their new career as software test analysts.

He has have over 17 years commercial experience working in testing and development. A dedicated professional with excellent skills who has worked as a test manager/test lead/ tester / test analyst on several projects. He has created several test strategies, test plans, test approaches and testing frameworks based on various technologies such as SAP, JAVA, Android, mobile apps,.Net, Oracle, Siebel legacy systems, 3rd party and other bespoke systems. He has worked both in manual testing and test automation on various scales of projects - small, medium and large. He has also used different methodologies such as Agile, V-Model, ASAP, Waterfall, RAD, RUP, etc A lot of his work has involved the transition from unit testing to integration testing to system testing to user acceptance testing (UAT) to regression testing.
He has also been involved in a variety of non- functional testing roles(load, performance, stress, soak, disaster recovery, back-up, failover, security).

Biswajit Nanda

Biswajit is a committed professional with excellent experience in managing Testing & teams and delivering Test projects to improve working practices. He has an extensive career in Test Management and implementing changes to improve processes, including with automation,producing templates and coordinating offshore testing.

He is an effective team leader, with excellent abilities in leading and managing individuals, in providing training and development in order to improve skill sets and deliver against organisational objectives. He has successfully improved team abilities, while ensuring individuals are motivated and enthusiastic in their roles, leading by example.

He is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Prince2 Practitioner and has excellent experience in managing Agile scrum teams.

Tanvi is an expert agile testing and automation professional with more than 8 years of experience with well known companies like Google, Nokia, SKY, theTrainline.com, Marks and Spencer’s and Sainsbury’s.

She is passionate about automated solution of Web, Mobile and Performance testing, currently working as a Lead Automation QA in Agile Environment and is certified in Scrum (Agile), ISTQB, and Microsoft SQL Server.

James (Course Consultant)

James is an experienced Senior Business Analyst and a certified trainer who has been working in IT for more than 14 years as a consultant.

He spent the first part of his career in Retail Banking sector, and was heavily involved in numerous change initiatives, before moving into the Information Systems domain. Since then he has worked predominantly as a Business & Systems Analyst managing change at the interface between the Business & IT domains.

His detailed knowledge and experience in many analysis tools and techniques. He develops and delivers business analysis training using proven techniques and real-world experience. He also has considerable practical experience through working as a consultant on many key strategic projects.

James's areas of expertise include business analysis, software/system design, quality assurance, and project management. His experience covers many industries including insurance, financial, banking, and manufacturing.

He has a profound academic background, Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng), PRINCE2™ Masters degrees in Business Administration.

With a wealth of experience gained in a variety of roles in blue-chip environments and the public sector, such as London Stock Exchange, Barclays, RBS, Financial Ombudsman Service and HMRC Treasury.

His extensive industry experience ensures that his courses are both comprehensive and benchmarked against real-life case studies and numerous examples of real-life situations. Hiss students appreciate his light-hearted and discussive approach to teaching.

Ralph

Ralph has over 10 years of Financial Services experience as a Business Analyst with many years as a trainer. He is vastly experienced in the System Development Lifecycle in PC based and web based applications including open source and Commercial off the shelf (COTS) applications within the Banking, Insurance and Financial Service Sector. Ralph started his career in the banking industry and has worked with the likes of HSBC, Royal bank of Scotland (Commercial & Private banking), Aviva, Admiral, Royal Sun Alliance, Direct Line and Legal & General. He has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science (University of Wolverhampton) ISEB Certified – Business Analysis, ISEB Certified – Software Testing, Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator, Agile Certified Prince 2 and a CIBAP certified Chartered Accountant.

Kelvin

Kelvin is an experienced IT consultant and Business Analyst with a diverse sector background including financial services, central government and IT. 
He has over 15 years IT industry experience in the following  areas GDPR, Data Protection 1998, Data Privacy, Compliance, Audit, Information Security, ISO 27001, IT management and ITIL, infrastructure and Regulatory projects.
Certified: IBITGQ EU General Data Protection Regulation, TOGAF, ISEB, BA, PM, Agile Scrum Master.
Kelvin is currently on his 3rd GDPR BA contract and as such will bring valuable oversight and instruction on how to nail that GDPR BA role.

Tammy (RPA Course Consultant)

Tammy is a rational, adaptable and commercially astute BCS certified and UiPath RPA certified Business Analyst/Consultant, with experience gained in working within pressured business environments and delivering to tight project deadlines for wide-ranging client sizes and industries including insurance, b2b e-commerce and telecoms.

An in-depth understanding of the principles that apply to providing successful deliverables to complex solutions and apply them over the years, to adequately contribute to many successful projects, building strong relationships across business, IT and other cross-functional business units.

Experienced in analysing business needs and providing feasible and valuable solutions, through in-depth consultation and Gap analysis. Skilled at effectively facilitating process and requirements workshops and interviews, requirements elicitation and analysis, business process modelling, data analysis and requirements documentation.

He has an admirable diverse academic background. A BSc in Oil and Gas Management (University of Plymouth), BCS certification in Business Analysis, UiPath RPA certification for Business Analyst and an MSc in Business Analysis and Consultancy (University of Hertfordshire).  

Over the past two years, he delved into the world of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and has since gained a wealth of experience working on a variety of RPA projects. His enthusiasm and experience gained in this exciting specialisation ensures that his course is detailed, practical and benchmarked against real-life scenarios and industry standard case studies.

Lola Adele

Lola has over 10 years of experience working in Project Management with an in-depth knowledge of PMO.  She has an extensive portfolio of clients in Media, Finance, Rail, Technology and Retail. To date she has had the privilege of working on 30 projects.
Lola is multi skilled and experienced in establishing, restructuring and maintaining best practice PMO in medium to large national and global organizations.

She is passionate about standardization and is process driven. A highly skilled PMO Consultant with a particular interest in IT Delivery and ancillary areas. Prince 2 qualified and adept in Agile framework. 

Lola is able to quickly shape and analyse a Project ensuring key controls are in place to support a successful Project kick off and implementation.

Continuously looking for ways to enhance key templates and documentation for the PMO to drive a more robust and an apt representation of the health of projects at any one given time.

She is versatile and her natural ‘unstoppable” attitude gets the job done thoroughly and skilfully.

Successfully supported clients in the UK and abroad in achieving their career goals, through her PEMP Programme (Prepare Empower Motivate and Push)

A well-established Servant-Leader/Facilitator & Agile Coach who has successfully delivered large-scale software and Web development projects/programmes  by effectively collaborating, facilitating, leading and coaching multiple Scrum teams, including disrupting their mindset to appreciate Agile.  Also as an Agile Coach have coached and mentored teams on Scrum and other Agile frameworks on best practices, including functioning as a Change Agent.

An expert at driving the implementation of Agile best practices and Agile Ways Of Working (WoW), removing impediments and enabling self-management in teams.   Also a bona-fide successful Test & Defect Manager.

Experienced in delivering decision support solutions, Business Intelligence (BI), and Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Excellent facilitating and servant-leader problem solving, conflict resolution and moderating skills.

Chetan is a seasoned Trainer and has been training and mentoring aspiring Business Analysts and Software Testers for 6 years. He is an expert in training the students in Conceptual topics, Live Projects, CV building and facing Interview. He has successfully trained students in cracking interviews and excelling in day to day Business Analyst/Software Tester duties at the workplace with ease.
